Welcome!

My name is Megan Sarling. As the school’s Wellness Coach, I support the mental health and well-being of students and families through promotion, prevention, and improvement. This means promoting positive mental health by raising awareness, building knowledge, and teaching skills like self-care, emotional regulation, and healthy relationship building. It also means working to prevent challenges by identifying students who may be at risk, offering early support, and connecting them and their families to helpful resources. Finally, I work to improve access to services by collaborating with schools, health professionals, and community agencies so that support is easier to find and use. My goal is to help create a safe, supportive environment where students can build resilience, develop healthy skills, and thrive in both school and life. 

I also collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate wellness into school culture, ensuring that every student feels supported, valued, and equipped to face life’s challenges.
