Ik’kinapaaki (Gentle Woman) Award Recipient Vada Sunshine

Hillside Staff and Students are proud to announce that Vada Sunshine was the recipient of this year's Ik’kinapaaki (Gentle Woman) Award awarded at the Annual Spirit Seekers Youth Conference in Grande Prairie. The Ik’kinapaaki Award is in memoriam of Delaine Lamber-English who was instrumental in the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre movement and the success of the Annual Spirit Seekers Youth Conference. Delaine demonstrated an unwavering passion and commitment to her work, peers, and community; she served as a role model through her positive culture. Vada was chosen for this award because she exemplifies a sense of community and inspires others to embody reliability, perseverance, and integrity. Congratulations Vada, we are very proud of you!!
